Volunteering at PTA Events outside the school day

All volunteers, including board members, chairs, and committee members need to fill out the California State PTA Volunteer Waiver, Release, and Indemnity Agreement.

Volunteering on campus and field trips during the school day 

Must be RUSD Board-approved. To become an RUSD Board-approved, you must do the following:

• All volunteers who plan to help out in the classroom or chaperone field trips or events during school hours are required to be RUSD Board-approved. Each year you must fill out a new RUSD Volunteer Application.

• Negative B test results on file. 

  • The TB test is good for 4 years. 

  • You may pick up a Health Services Voucher for the TB test in the front office which is valid for a free test at the Redlands Community Hospital Family Clinic on Colton Avenue. and go to the District Office to be fingerprinted.

  • TB testing is available on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 8:00am and 3:30pm only.

• Live Scan Fingerprinting is required. 

  • Your fingerprints are good for the entire time your student is enrolled. 

  • Complete the Fingerprinting Form for Volunteers

  • Book a Fingerprint Appointment.
