About the Kimberly PTA
Kimberly Elementary PTA is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit membership organization. The Kimberly PTA supports and advocates for all students, families, teachers, and staff of our wonderful Kimberly community.
Kimberly PTA builds bridges between homes, schools, and communities to help children succeed academically and personally.
Kimberly PTA selects the priorities, programs, and activities that address the needs of our school. We raise money to fund assemblies, activities during reading month, such as One School One Book, events that bring families together like the Ice Cream Social, Kampout, Fall Festival, Spring Party, STEAM Night, and much much more! We also use PTA funds to gift money to the school and staff to help support field trips, field trip scholarships, supplies for the classroom through teacher stipends, and campus upgrades. These programs are funded through membership dues and donations.
Kimberly PTA is an inclusive group. Anyone can join - parents, teachers, students, alumni, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and members of the community. Join the Kimberly PTA today! Joining does not obligate you to volunteer. We welcome any help you are able to give that fits your lifestyle and time constraints.

Association Meetings
The Kimberly PTA has three regularly scheduled Association Meetings during the year. General members have the opportunity to make motions, provide input on agenda items and make collective decisions by voting on actions for Kimberly PTA.
August: Back to School Night - The business at this meeting includes approving and adopting the proposed PTA programs for the year, the budgeted income and expenses for the year, releasing the funds to be spent up until the next association meeting, and adopting the previous year's financial review report.
February: The purpose of this meeting is to make adjustments to the programs and budget if needed, release funds for the second half of the year, and approve contracts for events.
April: This is the annual election meeting. Members of the nominating committee will propose a slate of officers to the association who will vote on next year's officers. This allows for a transition period before officially starting their term on July 1. Budget and program amendments may be presented for approval at this meeting for the second half of the year.
Additional meetings throughout the year may be necessary to approve additional changes to the programs, budget, approve contracts, or any other business that requires association approval. These meetings will be communicated on this website, social media, the principal's Sunday message, and emailed to members with an email address on file.
Executive Board Meetings
Executive Board Meetings are held the second Thursday of the month (August - May) in the Staff Lounge at 5:00 p.m. Only members of the executive board can make motions and vote on agenda items. Please don't let this stop you from joining us! We welcome all guests who are interested in learning more about what's going on or how to get more involved on one or more of the committees to join us!
