Fundraising Events

Fundraising serves as our primary means of financial support. It allows us to carry out our programs, initiatives, and services that benefit all student at Kimberly Elementary. Kimberly Elementary PTA spends between $100 and $150 per student - funding on-campus assemblies, no-cost activities, subsidizing the cost of field trips, and providing supplies and books for the classrooms and library, and campus beautification.

We try to hold fundraisers that interest our community. Survey results indicated community-style fundraisers, thons, and book fairs were preferred.

As always, participation in any Kimberly PTA program or fundraiser is voluntary. If you have any questions, please email fundraising@kimberlypta.org.

The Auction fundraiser is the largest PTA fundraiser. We hope to raise $14,250 between the Silent Auction fundraiser and Fall Festival wristband sales! All money raised from the Silent Auction and Fall Festival will be used toward PTA-sponsored programs that benefit all students at our school

Upon submitting the Kimberly PTA Donation Form, Kimberly PTA will provide a donation receipt.

Themed basket items

Silent Auction items will be assembled into baskets and available for online bidding up until the Fall Festival when top bidders will be announced.

September 30: Items for the Silent Auction due.
October 14: Online Silent Auction will open.
October 26: Online Silent Auction ends at 5:30 p.m. and winners announced at the Fall Festival

If you would prefer to purchase items from a retailer of your choice, please drop the items off in the Monster Donation Box located in the Kimberly office.

Below are suggestions for items for each classroom. Room parents may put together a list to avoid duplicates. Join in with other parents from the class to purchase a high value item. If you donate a gift card, please indicate if it is to be used as an item in the basket or for PTA to use to complete the basket.

Charleston Wrap

September 16 - October 7

Help Kimberly PTA reach its Charleston Wrap fundraising goal of $10,000!

If you are looking to purchase gifts off of your holiday shopping lists, FSC ® certified gift wrap, or kitchen essentials for your home, please consider supporting Kimberly Elementary PTA as you and family and friends make purchases this season!

Take a look at this 3 minute Kick Off Video for an overview of the fundraiser. The Charleston Wrap® fundraiser is 100% online which means all items are ordered online and shipped directly to supporters.

Of course there are fun prize incentives! The following prizes are offered by Charleston Wrap® and will be delivered by Kimberly PTA throughout and after the sale (see attached prize flier for details):

Students win a prize when they receive 10 and 20 visits from friends and family to their unique shopping link.
Students can earn members of the Coop Crew, such as Kelly Cluckson, Beakyoncé, and Cluck Norris, after a set number of items have been purchased. Check your participation dashboard to see when your supporters purchase items and turn in the coupon to receive a randomly selected member of the Coop Crew throughout the sale. Coupons can be turned into the Coop Crew box in the office daily or to a PTA representative at various lunch periods throughout the sale.
One lucky participant will win a 40” GIANT CLUCKIE. All verified coupons collected during the sale will be entered into the drawing.
Check the prize flier for additional prizes that can be earned. Prizes such as the Geometric Puzzle Cube, Table Top Air Hockey set, and Inflatable Lounger will be shipped to the school after the sale and delivered to students.

Additionally, the Kimberly Elementary PTA wants to acknowledge family participation:

The top two classes who raise the most money will earn a $50 Amazon gift card for their teacher and a popsicle party for the class. And here’s a fun twist: If a family has more than one student at Kimberly, each student will receive full credit for the amount raised by the family.
One family will win a Gift Card to The Gourmet Pizza Shoppe. Families earn one entry for every 10 items sold by family members residing in the same household.

Book Fairs

Frugal Frigate Book Fair: September 23 - 29

Visit independent children's bookstore during the Kimberly Elementary Book Fair week and a percentage will be credited to Kimberly PTA to use toward purchasing books for classrooms and RUSD-approved Newbery Award and Caldecott Award winning books.

The Frugal Frigate will be hosting a special event exclusively for Kimberly Elementary families on Wednesday, September 25 from 6:00-7:00 p.m. Author Erica Silverman will be reading her book, The City Sings Green. She will be available to sign copies of her books.

Dine-out Nights

Dine with friends. Support local restaurants and other popular spots. 10-20% comes back to Kimberly Elementary PTA through the generous give-back programs from these restaurants.
